XRP, Zcash, Hyperliquid and Shiba Inu are all trading below their late-September peaks and all sitting on support, according to the October 12 price analysis from U.today. XRP is near $1.395, Zcash (ZEC) near $1,236, Hyperliquid (HYPE) near $85.24, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) near $0.00000542.
Each chart is holding a level that has already been tested this month, and U.today notes that trading volume has been light, so neither buyers nor sellers have yet forced a resolution.

Key facts
- XRP trades near $1.395 after falling from a late-September high near $1.66, and sits just under its 50-day average near $1.40.
- Zcash trades near $1,236 after a drop from a late-September high near $1,700, and bounced from about $1,190 on October 10.
- Hyperliquid trades near $85.24 after peaking near $98 in late September, and is testing the $83 area.
- Shiba Inu trades near $0.00000542, below its long-term average near $0.00000560, with buyers defending $0.00000530.
What has changed since late September
All four assets ran to highs in late September and have given back ground since. XRP fell hard on October 6 and 7 before finding support near $1.32, and its subsequent bounce has been weak. ZEC’s decline was steeper than XRP’s, but the coin has stopped falling for now and remains far above its long-term average near $750 — a gap U.today points to as evidence of how strong the rally since August has been.
HYPE and SHIB have both dropped from late-September highs, though U.today describes their charts as telling different stories. Hyperliquid remains above its main averages near $64 and $76, keeping the longer-term trend up. Shiba Inu, by contrast, is trading below its long-term average, which keeps its wider trend weak even though buyers are defending the $0.00000530 area.

For XRP, the reference points are clear. Support sits at $1.35 and then $1.32, with a deeper level near $1.25 where August’s rally began. Resistance is at $1.45, followed by $1.50, a zone where sellers stepped in twice in late September and early October. A close above $1.45 on rising volume would strengthen the bounce and open $1.50 and then $1.60; a close below $1.35 would put $1.32 and then $1.25 in play.
Levels that decide direction
Zcash needs a close above $1,300 — the level that matches its short-term average — to hand control back to buyers, with $1,400 and then $1,500 as the next hurdles. A close below $1,190 would fail the bounce and point toward $1,100, and below that toward $1,000.
Hyperliquid’s short-term average sits near $84, with $88 the level to reclaim and $92 a zone where sellers appeared twice in early October. A close below $83 would target $78, and losing that could push price toward $74. SHIB needs a close above $0.00000560 to shift momentum back to buyers, with $0.00000580 next; a close below $0.00000510 would open the $0.00000450 to $0.00000470 range where summer lows formed.
Why it matters
These are the levels that determine whether October extends September’s pullback or reverses it. XRP and Zcash each sit close to averages that have acted as turning points before, so a daily close either side of those lines carries more weight than intraday movement. For holders, the practical difference is narrow: the same $1.35 line and $1,190 line that define the bounce also define its failure.
What to watch
U.today frames the next couple of sessions as the ones that matter. Watch whether XRP holds $1.35, whether ZEC holds $1,190, whether HYPE can hold $83 and reclaim $88, and whether SHIB closes above $0.00000560. Without a larger push in trading activity, both HYPE and SHIB are likely to stay range-bound. This is not financial advice, and cryptocurrency markets are volatile and uncertain.
