Corrections Policy

At CryptoNewsInsights, we are committed to publishing accurate, fact-checked content. Errors are inevitable in fast-moving newsrooms, but how we handle them is what defines our editorial integrity. This Corrections Policy describes how we identify, correct, and disclose factual errors in our published articles.

How to Report an Error

If you spot a factual inaccuracy, typographical error that materially changes meaning, or out-of-date information in any of our articles, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. Please include:

  • The URL of the article in question
  • A description of the error (with the specific quote or passage)
  • The corrected information, with a citation to a verifiable source if possible

How We Handle Corrections

When a credible correction is reported, we follow this process:

  1. Triage within 24 hours. An editor reviews the report and verifies the original sources.
  2. Substantive corrections (factual errors, misattributed quotes, incorrect figures) are corrected in place. The article displays a clearly labelled Correction note at the bottom describing what changed and when.
  3. Minor corrections (spelling, grammar, broken links) are fixed silently without an attached note.
  4. Significant updates based on later developments are added as Updated notes — these are not corrections, but additions.
  5. Article retractions are reserved for cases where the central premise of the article is found to be unsupported. The article is replaced with a notice explaining the reason for retraction. The original URL is preserved and not deleted.

Disclosure and Transparency

Every substantive correction includes:

  • The date the correction was made
  • A description of the original error and the corrected information
  • An dateModified update in the article’s structured data

We do not silently rewrite history. If something was wrong, our readers deserve to know what was wrong and what we changed.

AI-Assisted Content

Some of our articles are produced with the assistance of AI tools and are reviewed by a human editor before publication. AI-generated drafts are subject to the same fact-checking and corrections process as human-written articles. If you find an error in an AI-assisted article, please report it the same way.

Editorial Independence

Decisions on what to correct, when, and how are made by our editorial team independent of advertisers, sponsors, and outside influence.
