Fact-Checking Policy

Accuracy is the first rule at CryptoNewsInsights. This page explains the checks every article passes and how our editor review works.

Checks before publication

  • Grounding in sources. Figures, prices, dates, names and quotations are compared with the source reports. An article containing a figure or quotation that is not in its sources is rejected.
  • Enough source material. Reports that are too short to support a full article, such as a headline or a one-paragraph wire alert, are not turned into articles.
  • Originality. Articles that reuse too much of a source’s wording are rejected.
  • Headline check. Headlines must state what the article says, without sensational wording.
  • Added value. A separate review lists what the article adds beyond its main source. Stories with a second independent report are preferred, and single-source articles face a higher pass mark.
  • Link check. Outbound links are tested. Dead links are removed.
  • Freshness. Old reports are not turned into new articles.

Editor review

Our editor reviews published articles and corrects anything that needs it. Because articles are drafted with AI tools, each one carries a short note on how it was produced and names its sources so readers can check them.

Sources

We rely on named, published sources. We do not use anonymous sources and do not conduct interviews.

Speculation and forecasts

Forecasts and analyst opinions are attributed to the person or firm that made them and are not presented as fact.
