Decrypt has made its Money Accounts live on Solana, according to Decrypt, giving readers a single self-custodial balance denominated in USDT that can be spent across the publisher’s financial products. Balances and deposits are held in USDT on Solana, and gas and rent are covered through fee-payer co-signing, so a user does not need to hold SOL.

The accounts sit underneath The Information Exchange, the financial and intelligence market Decrypt is building with its sister brand Myriad and the planned MYR token. Decrypt co-founder Ilan Hazan described the aim as one account and one balance covering every financial instrument, adding that the company is working with leading protocols and will name partners in the coming weeks.

Key facts

  • One USDT balance on Solana funds Earn, Swaps, Predictions and Perps, with Decrypt Takes and further products to follow; no bridging or per-product deposits are required.
  • Decrypt says it does not hold private keys and cannot transact on a user’s behalf, with private key export coming shortly for use in any Solana wallet software.
  • Existing Myriad Wallet users can begin using Decrypt Money Accounts immediately with no migration, because the Myriad Predictions wallet becomes Decrypt Money Accounts.
  • Myriad says it has recorded more than $600 million in cumulative prediction-market volume, per Cryptobriefing.
  • Decrypt and Myriad announced The Information Exchange on September 30, 2026, with the full product expected during Solana Breakpoint on November 15 to 17, 2026, according to Cryptobriefing.

Cross-chain settlement runs underneath

The account does not require a second network. Myriad Predictions markets settle on BNB Chain, for example, but a user trades them from the same Solana USDT balance without touching a bridge. Private key export, once available, would let users take the account’s keys into any Solana wallet software.

Decrypt frames the pieces as layered: the newsroom is the information layer, Myriad is the infrastructure that connects what readers learn to what they can act on, and MYR is intended as the shared economic coordination layer built on Solana. The Information Exchange is organised around subjects, gathering reporting, data, prices and probabilities in one place, with instruments set to widen from prediction markets toward spot, perpetual futures and structured event products.

Why it matters

The launch collapses several usually separate steps — yield, token swaps, prediction markets and perpetual futures — into one self-custodial balance, which removes the bridging and multi-app routine that retail users typically face. It also ties a media property directly to markets it covers, a combination that raises the question of how Decrypt separates editorial judgement from products that benefit from trading activity, a tension Cryptobriefing flagged.

How the phased rollout is disclosed matters for readers assessing the platform. Cryptobriefing reported that the MYR token is slated to handle staking and access functions across the network but that details remained under wraps at announcement time, with no live token trading or specification then available.

What to watch

The staggered release of features runs toward Solana Breakpoint, scheduled for November 15 to 17, 2026. Also worth tracking are the MYR token disclosures on supply, distribution and launch mechanics, and whether Myriad’s stated prediction-market volume grows once the newsroom is feeding it traffic. Decrypt said partner protocols would be announced in coming weeks.
