Remittix Markets, the perpetual futures trading platform from the Remittix project, has officially launched, adding a live trading product alongside the company’s existing crypto-to-fiat PayFi service. The launch, confirmed on August 5, 2026, gives the RTX token a second major use case as the project’s presale surpasses $31 million and closes in on the $32 million milestone, where the team has said it will reveal the official RTX launch date.

The introduction of Remittix Markets marks a strategic shift for the project, which had previously been known primarily for its payment-focused infrastructure. With the new trading platform, Remittix is now positioned across two distinct areas of the digital asset market: practical transfers and active trading.

Perpetual Futures Platform Targets Active Traders

Remittix Markets is designed for traders who want to take long or short positions on digital assets without being tied to contract expiration dates. Perpetual futures are a popular instrument among cryptocurrency traders because they allow for continuous exposure to price movements, with tap into available to amplify potential gains. However, the platform’s launch materials also note that use increases the risk of liquidation and significant losses, a standard warning for this type of product.

The launch opens Remittix to an audience that may not have previously followed the project through its PayFi offerings. Bitcoin and altcoin traders can now evaluate a live trading product operating within the same ecosystem, creating another entry point into the project and introducing a form of platform activity that can occur more frequently than payments alone.

For a project that began with a focus on simplifying crypto-to-bank transfers, the addition of a trading platform represents a notable expansion of scope. The two product pillars now serve different user needs: PayFi is built around moving value between cryptocurrency and bank accounts, while Markets is aimed at users who want to trade digital asset price movements.

RTX Utility Grows Beyond a Single Use Case

Before Remittix Markets went live, the RTX token was primarily associated with the project’s payment proposition. The new trading platform reduces that dependence on one product category, giving RTX a wider potential audience and a more diversified utility story.

Payment customers and perps traders often have very different objectives, but both can interact with services developed under the same RTX ecosystem. This diversification could support more regular engagement, as trading platforms tend to encourage frequent visits from users monitoring markets and managing positions, compared to payment services which are typically used on an as-needed basis.

That said, the launch does not automatically translate into increased demand for RTX. It does, however, give Remittix another opportunity to attract users, build brand recognition, and demonstrate that its ecosystem extends beyond a presale token.

PayFi Remains the Foundation

The Remittix PayFi platform continues to serve as the core of the project’s real-world utility. It is designed to let users initiate transfers in cryptocurrency while recipients receive fiat directly into their bank accounts, reducing the need for exchange transfers, manual conversions, and separate withdrawal requests. The platform has been fully developed and tested by community members, according to the project.

Remittix Markets now sits alongside that payments infrastructure, creating an ecosystem built around both practical transfers and active trading. The company has indicated that future products could expand this model further, though the immediate utility story is centered on PayFi and Markets.

With the presale approaching the $32 million milestone, the project is moving toward the RTX token launch with a broader product proposition than it had at the beginning of the presale. Remittix Markets does not replace the original PayFi vision; it expands it, giving RTX a wider ecosystem story built around payments, trading, and continued product growth.
