MEXC RealStocks Data Reveals SpaceX Dominance, AI Stock Rotation in First Month
MEXC, the cryptocurrency exchange serving over 40 million users, has released the first-month trading data for its RealStocks product, revealing that SpaceX alone captured 29.7% of all trading volume in June 2026. The data, published on July 28, also shows that seven AI-related stocks collectively accounted for 23.67% of volume, painting a picture of a user base that simultaneously chased a single high-profile name and diversified across the broader AI supply chain.
SpaceX and AI Stocks Define First-Month Trading

RealStocks, which launched on June 1, 2026, provides access to more than 7,000 US stocks and ETFs through a partnership with Atomic Vaults Securities (AVS), a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. The product allows users to fund purchases with USDT and charges zero trading fees, with users entitled to dividend distributions on real shares.

SpaceX, trading under the ticker SPCX, finished June with 29.7% of total trading volume and 29.06% of trading users, far ahead of any other asset. The convergence of high volume and broad participation suggests the stock was not merely a bet by a small group of aggressive traders but a consensus holding across the platform’s user base.
Seven AI-related assets—AAOI, MU, NVDA, MRVL, DRAM, AVGO, and SNDK—together accounted for 23.67% of total volume. This distribution spanned GPU compute, memory and storage, data center networking, and optical communications, indicating that user interest followed the AI capital rotation beyond the best-known compute names into the suppliers that feed data center demand.

Three Distinct Trading Patterns Emerge
The data reveals three distinct trading structures that emerged during the month. Well-known large caps including AAPL, MSFT, INTC, and GOOGL drew broad participation, widening overall user coverage. Core hot assets such as SPCX, NVDA, MU, TSLA, SNDK, and MRVL combined wide participation with heavy activity, reflecting high-conviction positions.
Narrower industry-chain names like AAOI, DRAM, STRC, and AVGO reached the top 10 by volume without reaching the top 10 by users, meaning fewer traders each contributed more. MRVL illustrates this divide: it drew 2.12% of trading users but 3.15% of volume, suggesting deeper conviction from a smaller group.
The same themes appeared on both sides of the platform, as SPCX, MU, NVDA, SNDK, and MRVL ranked top 10 by volume in both RealStocks and futures. However, their distribution diverged sharply. RealStocks’ top 10 assets made up 57.71% of volume against roughly 84.94% for futures, leaving 42.29% of RealStocks volume spread across everything outside the leaderboard.
What the Data Means for Users
MEXC CEO Vugar Usi characterized the data as evidence of portfolio building rather than headline trading. “Futures follow the news cycle. RealStocks showed conviction as a portfolio product,” Usi said. “More than 40% of first-month volume sat outside the top ten names. That is portfolio building, not headline trading. Our users finally got real access to this market and they used it like investors.”
The product’s first month saw more than 120,000 users sign up, with over half of those new accounts making a first deposit. As of July 27, 2026, RealStocks had settled dividends for 154 stocks and ETFs. The platform’s user base was geographically mixed, with European markets accounting for approximately 50% of participation and developed Asian regions contributing around 16%.
MEXC’s broader platform offers more than 260 stock and index futures products, tokenized US equities, and Pre-IPO Launchpad access, covering derivatives, on-chain exposure, and early-stage opportunities within a single account. The RealStocks launch represents a significant step in bridging cryptocurrency users with traditional securities markets through regulated infrastructure.
