At Gamescom 2024, NVIDIA revealed new AI capabilities, celebrated 600 RTX games, and announced collaborations with MediaTek, pushing gaming technology boundaries.





At Gamescom 2024, NVIDIA has once again pushed the boundaries of gaming technology, ensuring that gamers experience incredibly immersive gameplay with enhanced performance and visual fidelity, according to NVIDIA Blog.

This year’s announcements include the introduction of NVIDIA ACE, a suite of technologies for creating AI-powered game characters, and the celebration of 600 RTX games and applications with 20 new RTX titles. Additionally, NVIDIA revealed a collaboration with MediaTek to expand G-SYNC display technologies to more gamers.

NVIDIA ACE: Advancing AI-Powered Game Characters

Leading NVIDIA’s announcements was NVIDIA ACE, a revolutionary suite of technologies for bringing digital humans to life using generative AI. The first game to showcase ACE and digital human technologies is Amazing Seasun Games’ Mecha BREAK, a fast-paced mech combat game. The ACE suite also includes NVIDIA’s first on-device small language model, Nemotron-4 4B Instruct, which enhances game characters’ conversational abilities and role-playing capabilities.

Celebrating 600 RTX Games and Apps With 20 New RTX Titles

NVIDIA RTX continues to revolutionize gaming with ray tracing, DLSS, and AI-powered technologies. This milestone marks 600 RTX-enhanced games and applications now available, with 20 new titles announced, including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Dune: Awakening, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The much-anticipated Black Myth: Wukong also launches today, featuring full ray tracing and DLSS 3 for an ultimate RTX experience.

Half-Life 2: An RTX Remix Project Unveils Remastered Nova Prospekt

Half-Life 2 RTX: An RTX Remix Project by Orbifold Studios is a community remaster of Valve’s classic game. Orbifold Studios unveiled a remastered version of the iconic Nova Prospekt level, featuring full ray tracing, DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction, and Reflex. The trailer also showcases remastered weapons, characters, and environments, leveraging modern PC capabilities to enhance realism.

NVIDIA and MediaTek Bring G-SYNC Display Technologies to More Gamers

NVIDIA and MediaTek are collaborating to make advanced gaming display technologies more accessible. This partnership integrates NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies into popular scalers, resulting in feature-rich and affordable G-SYNC monitors. A highlight of this collaboration is G-SYNC Pulsar, a new technology offering improved motion clarity and a smooth, tear-free variable refresh rate experience. G-SYNC Pulsar will debut on new monitors from ASUS, Acer, and AOC.

GeForce NOW Raises the Bar for Cloud Gaming

GeForce NOW continues to enhance cloud gaming by adding top-tier PC games and new features. For Gamescom, GeForce NOW introduces Black Myth: Wukong and a demo for FINAL FANTASY XVI. Recent updates include Xbox automatic sign-in, support for mods, new data centers in Japan and Poland, and a library of 2,000 cloud games.

Star Wars Outlaws: GeForce RTX 40 Series Bundle

In collaboration with Ubisoft, Massive Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games, NVIDIA is launching a Star Wars Outlaws GeForce RTX 40 Series Bundle. This bundle allows gamers to experience the first open-world Star Wars game with enhanced NVIDIA DLSS 3.5, ray tracing, and Reflex technologies. The game will also be available on GeForce NOW.
