Leaked iPhone 15 Pro Pictures Rumored to Feature USB-C Port

Apple is finally bidding goodbye to its distinctive “Lightning connector,” according to an internet leak of an Apple iPhone 15 Pro with a USB-C connection.

In an effort to reduce e-waste, the EU recently passed a new regulation requiring USB Type-C as the sole approved charger.

Long overdue new laws from the European Union and India have forced the electronics titan, Apple, to adopt the USB-C connection for its iPhones.

Apple is finally bidding goodbye to its distinctive “Lightning connector,” according to an internet leak of an Apple iPhone 15 Pro with a USB-C connection.

It was previously reported that the Apple AirPods Pro 2 would include a USB-C charging port, ushering in a complete shift by the tech giant. This, however, is not the case.

The same is also implied by leaked renderings of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro. It’s anticipated that the devices would have larger camera lenses and slimmer bezels.

The leaked image of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro also reveals a deeper edge curve in addition to the USB-C connection.

In addition to four variants with USB-C charging and major feature enhancements over the previously introduced Apple iPhone 14 range, the next Apple iPhone 15 series will reportedly contain.

The device’s brushed metal appearance further hints that titanium rather than stainless steel is being used by Apple.
