As per reports, Saturday Night Live (SNL), which commences its 48th season starting on 1 October, announced its first three hosts. The three hosts starring in the show are musical guests; Miles Teller, Brendan Gleeson, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Reportedly, Miles Teller, who starred in the blockbuster movie “Top Gun: Maverick” is set to open the first-week premiere along with the American rapper, songwriter, and record producer Kendrick Lamar. This will be Miles Teller’s hosting debut, whereas Lamar will be appearing for the third time on the show.
For the second week, renowned and cherished Irish actor Brendan Gleeson will be hosting paired-up against Willow Smith, who is an American songwriter and actor, and the daughter of famous actor Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Brendan Gleeson is famously known for his legendary work in the series Harry Potter as Hogwarts professor Mad-Eye Moody. He is a part of a well-applauded forthcoming movie “The Banshees of Inisherin”. This pair will be featured in the episode of 8th October. Willow is said to be the musical guest for this episode.
In the episode that is to be broadcasted on 15 October, American rapper Megan Thee Stallion will make her debut and will be featuring as both, a host as well as the musical guest. Megan’s appearance is listed to support her album “Traumazine”, which was freshly released on 12 August.
As per the latest news reports, Chris Redd, a 37 years old American comedian and actor was the latest cast member of SNL who called it quits and exited the show. He will not be returning for the 48th season of Saturday Night Live.
